VigilOS is the embedded linux operating system that powers the Vigil Stele, an e-ink dashboard with real-time updates and powerful automations, framed in either modern plastic or rustic walnut. It is local-first and privacy-first by design. The full reference for VigilOS will be released soon alongside our beta of the OS itself, VigilOS Schönfinkel. To learn about how it works before we release the guides to using the widget API, creating .vgx extension bundles, and tinkering with the internals, the GitHub coming soon readme is the single best place to see how everything fits together at the moment.
